David Kavanamur is Foundation Professor of Management in the School of Business Administration at the University of Papua New Guinea and the chair of the Oceania Development Network (http://www.gdn-oceania.org). He has undertaken research and consultancy mainly in the areas of management and development issues. These include strategic alliance management issues, corporate governance issues, political economy of reforms, rural financing, socio-economic surveys, market surveys and public sector reform. He has published extensively in the area of international management and development studies.
David is currently compiling a book, Contemporary Management Issues in Developing Economies, that addresses aspects of business and management in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific.
